Thermostat Controlling Bulbs

PIRA 4A30.11

Photo of Demo

Description:

A large light bulb heats a bimetalic strip, making it bend. When it bends enough, it breaks the connection and the heating bulb goes out while the other bulb comes on. The strip then cools and straightens until it breaks the circuit of the small bulb and reconnects the circuit for the heating bulb, repeating the process.
